How is the Trendyol commission calculated?

The Trendyol commission is found by multiplying your sale price by the commission rate: Commission amount = Sale price × (Commission rate ÷ 100). For example, on a 500 TL product a 20% commission rate equals 100 TL, leaving a pre-commission net earning of 400 TL. Because commission rates vary by category, campaign and your seller agreement, we recommend entering your own current rate into the calculator; the starting rates shown are only estimates.

What is the commission rate on Hepsiburada and N11?

On marketplaces such as Hepsiburada, N11, Amazon and Çiçeksepeti the commission rate is not fixed; it varies by product category, campaigns and your seller agreement. For this reason we cannot give a single official rate. The rate shown when you select a marketplace in the calculator is only an estimated starting value; for an accurate result, enter the current rate from your agreement manually.

How is marketplace net earning calculated?

Net earning is found by subtracting the commission from the sale price: Net earning = Sale price − Commission amount. If VAT is also charged on the commission, you need to deduct that amount as well. By ticking the option to deduct VAT in the calculator, you can also factor in the commission VAT. For your true net profit, also take shipping, packaging and return costs into account.

How is VAT on the commission calculated?

Marketplaces apply VAT on top of the commission amount they charge. Commission VAT = Commission amount × (VAT rate ÷ 100). For example, for a 100 TL commission at 20% VAT, an additional 20 TL of VAT arises; by also deducting this amount from the sale price you obtain a more realistic net earning.

How is commission calculated?

Commission amount = Sale price × (Commission rate ÷ 100). Net earnings are found by deducting the commission (and the commission VAT, if selected) from the sale price. For example, a 500 TRY product at a 20% rate gives 100 TRY commission and 400 TRY net earnings.

How is the marketplace commission calculated?

The marketplace commission is found by multiplying your sale price by the commission rate: Commission amount = Sale price × (Commission rate ÷ 100). Your net earning is then what remains after subtracting the commission — and the VAT charged on it, if you select that option — from the sale price.

Example calculation

When you sell a 500 TL product at a 20% commission rate, the commission amount is 500 × (20 ÷ 100) = 100 TL. Your pre-commission net earning is 500 − 100 = 400 TL. If 20% VAT is also charged on the commission, a further 20 TL is deducted and the net earning drops to 380 TL.
