How is commission calculated?
Commission amount = Sale price × (Commission rate ÷ 100). Net earnings are found by deducting the commission (and the commission VAT, if selected) from the sale price. For example, a 500 TRY product at a 20% rate gives 100 TRY commission and 400 TRY net earnings.How is the Çiçeksepeti commission calculated?
The Çiçeksepeti commission is found by multiplying your sale price by the commission rate: Commission amount = Sale price × (Commission rate ÷ 100). Your seller net earning then emerges by subtracting the commission (and, if you select it, the VAT charged on the commission) from the sale price. Çiçeksepeti comes pre-selected in the calculator; you can adjust the rate according to your own category and agreement.
Example calculation
When you sell a 500 TL product at a 17% commission rate, the commission amount is 500 × (17 ÷ 100) = 85 TL. Your net earning before commission is 500 − 85 = 415 TL. If 20% VAT is also charged on the commission, an additional 17 TL is deducted and the net earning drops to 398 TL.
