You connect in a few steps by taking your API credentials from your Porego seller/account panel and entering them on the Stokzone integration screen (connects via API Key + Secret). Sync starts automatically once the connection is established.

What you should know about the Porego integration

The key prefixes tell you which one is secret

Porego uses two keys, and telling them apart is easy: the public key starts with pk_ and the secret key with sk_. Both come from the integration section of the panel. When they get swapped the error is an authentication failure, and glancing at the prefixes resolves it in seconds.

Setup also includes a payment type. The default is prepaid; if you work with cash on delivery you have to change it and make sure the amount to collect comes from the order. Creating a cash-on-delivery shipment under the prepaid default means the amount is never communicated to the carrier.

Porego picks the carrier, not you

This is a distinction to know before you connect. Porego is an intermediary shipping platform, but it differs from the others in one way: Porego decides which carrier a shipment goes out with. It does not expose an endpoint that would let us choose the carrier.

The upside is that the choice is taken off your hands and price optimisation stays with the platform. The downside: if you need to ship to a particular customer with a particular carrier — because only one delivers in that area, or the customer asks for one by name — you cannot manage that through this connection.

We write this upfront because it is not something to discover after the sale. If choosing the carrier matters to you, a connection where you decide it will suit you better.
