What is e-commerce reporting?

E-commerce reporting is the practice of bringing the order, product and stock data from your marketplace and store sales into a single panel and turning it into meaningful summaries and tables. Stokzone uses the real order data from all of your connected channels to produce reports broken down by sales, product, category, brand, VAT and marketplace; you can preview these reports on screen or download them as Excel (XLSX). Every figure is calculated from your own sales data, not from sample numbers.

Which reports can I create and download as Excel?

There are eight ready-made reports, and each can be downloaded as XLSX: Best-Selling Products, Orders and Revenue Report (daily), Sales by Category, Sales by Brand, VAT Report, Marketplace Sales Summary, Stock Value Report and Sold Products List. Reports are calculated for the period you select (today, this week, this month, this quarter, this year or all time).

Do the figures in the reports come from my real data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every report is calculated from the real order and product data pulled from your connected channels; no sample or representative numbers are used. Cancelled orders are excluded from revenue and sales reports, so the figures reflect actual sales. Reports are produced solely from your own workspace's data.

Can I see my sales by marketplace?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Marketplace Sales Summary report shows the order count, revenue and average basket value for each channel. This lets you compare how much each marketplace brings in within a single table. Because commission data is not pulled from the marketplaces, this report does not include a commission or net profit calculation; it focuses on the order, revenue and average basket breakdown.

What does the VAT report show?

The VAT Report groups your sales by VAT rate and provides the transaction count, the tax base, the calculated VAT amount and the total amount for each rate. Each line total is treated as VAT-inclusive, so the tax base and VAT are separated out. This helps you consolidate your end-of-period VAT view into a single table, without a marketplace breakdown.

How are stock value and potential profit calculated?

The Stock Value Report values the current stock of your active products: for each product it shows the stock quantity, unit cost, total cost, unit sales price, total sales value and the potential profit, which is the difference between them. Here, 'potential profit' means the gross difference you could realize if the stock on hand were sold (stock × (sales − cost)); it does not include realized sales profit, commission or shipping costs.

Is there a live summary on the dashboard?

Yes. The dashboard provides a live summary from the real data of your connected channels: total orders and revenue (with the rate of change versus the last 30 days), the number of active products and customers, the daily sales/order trend, the marketplace breakdown, the order status distribution, the distribution by province, hourly order intensity and carrier performance (delivery rate and average delivery time). All of these metrics are produced from your own sales data.

You can generate each report for today, this week, this month, this quarter, this year or all time. The period you select is reflected both in the on-screen preview and in the header of the Excel file you download, so it stays clear which range it covers.
