What you need to connect Shopify

These are the details requested when you connect your Shopify account to Stokzone. We've noted where to find each one in the Shopify panel.

Mağaza Domain
Tam domain (örn: mini-celebrities.myshopify.com)
Admin API Access Token
Shopify Admin > Apps > Develop apps > Admin API access token
Webhook Secret (opsiyonel)optional
Shopify Admin > Settings > Notifications > Webhooks > 'Your webhooks signature key' (ya da uygulamanın API secret'ı). Gelen webhook'ların HMAC imzasını doğrular. Boşsa webhook reddedilir.

Your credentials are stored encrypted and used only to establish the connection. You can remove the connection from the panel at any time.

How the Shopify integration behaves day to day

These are not marketing claims — they are the actual working parameters of Stokzone's Shopify connection. When the platform changes its API, this section changes with it.

Backfill window
When you connect, past orders can be pulled going back up to 60 days. Anything older is not listed by the platform on this endpoint, so the initial import is bounded by that window.
Typical response time
Around 350 ms per request. This is the main factor deciding how quickly a stock or price change shows up on the other side.
Product data pulled automatically
category, brand, variant attributes (colour, size), product images. These fields are filled in automatically while product records are enriched — you don't type them in.
Product matching
Products are matched by barcode, stock code (SKU). This is what stops stock from being written to the wrong record.

These values are generated from the connection's live working parameters rather than written by hand, so the page cannot drift away from how the system actually behaves.

What does publishing a product on Shopify require?

These are what the Shopify integration actually asks for at the publish step. The list is generated from the integration code.

Category
No category id is requested; the platform classifies the item itself.
Category-specific fields
No category-dependent extra fields; the form is the same for every product.
Brand
A brand is not mandatory.
Barcode (GTIN/EAN)
A barcode is mandatory; you cannot list without one here.
Image
An image is not mandatory.
Variants
Colour and size variants are supported.
Result
The result comes back straight away; the listing is created on submission.
Updating
A published listing can be updated afterwards.
Removing
Removing a listing is not supported here; it is done from the marketplace's own panel.

This is generated from the integration code; when the marketplace changes its rules, the adapter is updated too.

What you should know about the Shopify integration

Two fields are enough — but the domain must be complete

The Shopify connection asks for two things only: the store domain and an Admin API access token. The domain must be written in full — not a shortened form, but examplestore.myshopify.com. Even if you use your own domain (examplestore.com), the technical myshopify.com address is what goes here; the two are different, and this is where people get stuck most often.

The access token is generated under Shopify Admin → Apps → Develop apps, once you create your own custom app and grant it Admin API access. The token is shown only once; if you miss it you have to generate a new one.

The fastest of all connected channels

At roughly 350 ms per request, Shopify is the fastest of all connected channels. In practice that means a stock change made in the panel reaches the store noticeably sooner than the same change reaches a marketplace. The backfill window is 60 days too — two to four times that of the marketplaces.

Products can be matched by barcode as well as by stock code. That helps particularly on Shopify, because on Shopify's own side neither the barcode nor the SKU field is mandatory; even when one is empty, matching proceeds through the other.

Running a Shopify store alongside marketplaces and carriers

Searches for Shopify integration have grown noticeably over the past year, and a significant share of them pair Shopify not with itself but with a marketplace or a carrier. That reflects the typical path of a Shopify seller: first they build their own store, then they open up to marketplaces for reach.

The moment a second channel appears the question changes: it is no longer «how do I connect Shopify» but «how do Shopify and my marketplace share the same stock». Shopify being the fastest of the connected channels for stock and price updates (around 350 ms) pays off here — an item sold on the marketplace drops out of stock on your store within seconds.

Shipping works similarly: creating a label for a Shopify order happens on the same screen regardless of which channel the order came from. You do not open a different panel depending on the order's origin; the carrier is connected once and serves every channel.
