The member code is not your panel password
The Ticimax connection is set up with two values: your store address and a web service member code. The second is the field most often confused — it is not the password you sign in to the panel with. You take the member code from the panel under integration → web service. Entering the panel password here produces a setup that looks right but does not work.
Because the service addresses are derived from your store address, you do not enter a separate API address. If your store domain changes, the connection needs updating.
The difference between your own site and a marketplace
Connecting to a platform that runs your own online store, like Ticimax, is different from connecting to a marketplace. On a marketplace the platform sets the rules; on your own site you do. That is reflected in the integration too: the address is not fixed, you decide the permission level, and speed depends largely on your hosting.
Operationally the real gain is that stock on your own site is fed from the same source as stock on the marketplaces. Keeping two separate stock figures becomes unsustainable as channels are added, and it is the most common cause of overselling.
When Ticimax and a marketplace work together
Part of the searches around Ticimax look not for Ticimax on its own but for Ticimax together with a marketplace. That means most Ticimax sellers also sell on at least one marketplace besides their own site, and it shows the real need is not setup but keeping two channels in step.
When the two are run separately the most common outcome is stock drift: an item sold on the site keeps showing as in stock on the marketplace, a second order arrives and has to be cancelled. Since cancellation rates feed directly into seller ratings on marketplaces, the cost is not limited to that one order.
Connecting both channels to the same stock source breaks that cycle. Since setup on the Ticimax side takes just two values, the cost of adding a second channel stays low too.
Bringing your existing catalogue into Stokzone
The Ticimax connection differs from the other e-commerce platforms in one way: you can pull your products from Ticimax into Stokzone. For a business that has sold on Ticimax for years, that means not having to rebuild the catalogue by hand.
Once the products are in, opening them on marketplaces happens on the Stokzone side; your existing catalogue becomes ready for new channels. That shortens the most time-consuming part of going multi-channel.
The connection also covers orders, stock and prices. Creating new product records in Ticimax from Stokzone is not in scope — product management stays on the Ticimax side.
