Two layers of identity: the application and the user

The Paraşüt connection asks for four values, and they belong to two different layers. The first two — a client ID and secret — identify an application, generated in Paraşüt under settings → applications. The last two are your own Paraşüt sign-in details. So the connection answers both "which application" and "on whose behalf" at the same time.

The practical consequence: when you change your Paraşüt account password you must update the password on the connection too. The application keys stay the same, but when the user layer changes the connection stops.

The widest set on the list — and the only OAuth connection

The Paraşüt connection has the widest scope among the accounting providers: it issues e-Invoices and e-Archive documents, supports withholding, can cancel an issued invoice, and can book deductions such as commission as expense invoices. No other provider on the list brings all of that together in one connection.

The expense-invoice item matters especially because it is the most commonly skipped. Marketplaces deduct commission, shipping and return costs from settlements; if those amounts are not booked as documents, profit looks higher than it is — and you usually notice only at year end.

The way you connect differs too: Paraşüt is the only OAuth connection on the list. Authorisation happens on Paraşüt's side, and you can withdraw the connection from there whenever you want.
