What you should know about the Oplog integration

Oplog runs the warehouse, not you — and that is what the connection means

Oplog is not a carrier but a fulfilment service: your products sit in their warehouse, and when an order arrives they pick, pack and ship it. The connection is shaped accordingly — order information goes from Stokzone to Oplog, and stock and shipment status come back from Oplog to Stokzone.

Setup takes two values: a tenant identifier and a static token, both issued from the OpenAPI setup screen in the Oplog panel. If you will work against the test environment, remember the credentials are separate from production; a staging token does not work against live.

Outsourcing the warehouse: who does what?

When you start working with Oplog the boundary of your operation shifts: you no longer store the goods, and picking and packing happen in their warehouse when an order arrives. In that model the real question becomes which job you manage from which panel.

This connection offers a wide scope: you can define products into the warehouse, read current stock there, send orders to be fulfilled, open an inbound shipment from Stokzone, see returns, cancel an order you already sent, and choose which carrier a shipment goes out with.

Being able to open an inbound from here is particularly useful: you tell the warehouse what is coming before you ship a new batch, and counting happens against an expected list on arrival. Where that step is missing, receiving turns into phone and email traffic.
