What you should know about the OpenCart integration

OpenCart itself does not ship this API — a plugin is required

Do not look for the REST Admin API key in the OpenCart admin panel; it is not there. OpenCart's own core does not include the admin API this integration needs — it is added by a plugin, and the key comes from that plugin. Scanning the panel end to end and not finding it does not mean you did something wrong; it is simply not there to find.

The second field is the store address, and the API path is derived from it. This is an installation running on your own site; unlike a marketplace there is no fixed service address. If the site address changes, the connection has to be updated too.

On OpenCart the connection depends on a plugin — know this upfront

OpenCart itself does not ship a management API you can connect to from outside. That is not a shortcoming but a design choice; for integration, though, the consequence is this: to connect at all, a REST Admin API plugin has to be installed on your store.

That condition applies to the whole connection — pulling orders, pushing stock and prices, creating products. Without the plugin none of it works. We write this before the purchase decision because finding out during setup costs both time and trust.

With the plugin in place the flow is familiar: your orders land in Stokzone, stock and prices are written to your store, and you can create products. Variant support in this version is limited to single-variant products; if you run a variant-heavy catalogue it is worth discussing before setup.
