The stock list ID decides which channel your stock is written to

The two most critical fields in an Akinon setup are the stock list and price list identifiers. They look like technical details, but here is what they do: the list you write stock to determines which sales channel that stock appears on. Enter the wrong identifier and you get no error — the stock goes to a different channel, while the channel you were targeting stays out of stock.

The price list works on the same logic. You take both identifiers from the corresponding list screens in the Omnitron panel. On installations running several sales channels, verifying these two fields matters more than the rest of the setup put together.

There is no shared cloud address — the address is yours alone

Most e-commerce platforms have one shared API address that everyone connects to. Akinon does not: each installation has its own Omnitron address, which you obtain from the Akinon team. That is why you cannot find a general address in the documentation — you are not searching badly; no such address exists.

On the identity side there are two routes: if you already have a token you enter it directly; if not, you provide a username and password and let the token be generated automatically. Filling in one of the two is enough — you do not need both.

What one panel changes at enterprise scale

Akinon is an infrastructure used by mid-size and large brands selling across channels. At that scale the problem is usually not a lack of tools but tools that do not talk to each other: orders in one system, stock in another, marketplace operations in a third.

The connection brings orders, stock and prices into Stokzone. Your marketplace operation then feeds from the same stock pool as the records in Akinon, and the need for manual reconciliation between the two drops.

Creating product records is not in this connection's scope; product management stays on the Akinon side. In enterprise setups that is usually the preferred split — product data keeps a single owner.
